FACILITY EXPANSION 2024

Since our founding as a non-profit in 2010, we have worked to meet our mission to provide accessible equine programs focusing on life skill development for all individuals, including at-risk youth and people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Alternative methods of therapy are especially important to these populations.

Over these years, Sande has served hundreds of clients with measurable success. According to Sande’s Spring 2023 Survey, clients reported an overwhelmingly positive effect on their lives due to program participation.

         ·  90% reported increased confidence

       ·  56% reported improved communication skills

       ·  75% reported an improvement in their overall mood.

Despite the work we are doing, our rural community’s needs exceed our capacity, especially as it pertains to the service of mental health clients. We are working to expand our mental health programs and facilities, build two additional mental health offices, and extend our therapeutic riding arena. This expansion will allow us to triple the number of mental health clients we serve and double the amount of therapeutic riding clients we serve.

We are looking for community members and organizations to help support this intended expansion. If you would like to donate any amount, you can do so by mailing a check or scanning the QR code below. A receipt with our Tax ID will be emailed to you.

If you have any questions or would like to request a tour of our facility, please contact us at any time. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
